ZELENA VODA, SLOVAKIA, 2009

The family house is located in a recreational area Zelena Voda, Slovakia. The goal of the design was to connect living with the lake as much as possible. The path leads straight to the house entrance, where continues through the interior further out to the pier.

The house is designed for a family with two children. The floor plan was customized for the family’s needs – a master bedroom is on first floor and rooms for children and a family library are on the second floor. The house uses advantages of wood solid panels technology which allows an unconventional design for a timber house – three volumes laying and overlapping on each other, the way they follow the axis of the pier.
