The apartment is located in one of the oldest houses in the Lesser Town. The construction of the house dates back to Gothic. After 1584, the house was rebuilt in Renaissance style. It got its present form after the Classicist reconstruction in the 19th century. Apartment is located in the attic with preserved historic truss construction. Due to the historical value of the house and attic itself, all the stages of apartment renovation had to be discussed with the National Heritage Institute. One of the key ideas was to open up the ceiling to the ridge of the roof which led to emotional enlargement of the space and to the connection of all rooms.
