This family house is located in a recreational area in Zelena Voda, Slovakia.  The goal of the design was to connect living with the lake as much as possible.  Axis, which starts at the gate to the site as path leads straight to the house entrance, where continues through the interior further out to waterside. The house is designed for a family with two children.  The floor plan was customized for the family’s needs – a master bedroom is on first floor and rooms for children and a family library are on the second floor.  The house uses advantages of wood solid panel technology which allows an unconventional design for a timber house – three volumes laying and overlapping on each other, the way they follow the axis of the pier.
